Fee Schedule

VADACB has broken the application and fee process into components in order to assist individuals with payment.  However, individuals may choose to pay the entire amount.  Please make checks out to the Vermont Certification Board and send to P.O. Box 8566, Essex, VT  05451. 
Note that all certification fees are nonrefundable so be sure you meet all of the requirements for the certification level you are seeking before sending in your application and payment.

AAP (Apprentice Addiction Professional)

ADC (Alcohol and Drug Counselor)

CS (Clinical Supervisor)

Other fees/certification expiration/additional late fees
Re-exam fee: for missed or failed exam (apprentice or ADC)    $100.00
Lost or damaged application requires re-registration and download or mailing of packet at the above fee rates.

Extensions:  AS PER THE VERMONT STATUTES, TITLE 33, CHAPTER 8 AND THE ADMINISTRATIVE RULES, CERTIFICATION AND LICENSURE EXPIRE ON THE DATE NOTED ON YOUR CERTIFICATE AND/OR LICENSE. If you have not sent in your recertification materials by the deadline, or you have not submitted the required number of approved hours, your certification--and your license--will expire on January 31st.

When you are able to complete all of the recertification requirements and submit documentation to the Board, your certification will be reinstated at that time provided all fees are paid.  You must pay the customary recertification fee as well as the additional fees as appropriate, below:

In addition to the fees otherwise authorized by law, the director may charge the following fees:
Late renewal penalty, $25.00 for a renewal submitted less than 30 days late. Thereafter, the director may increase the late renewal penalty by $5.00 for every additional month or fraction of a month, provided that the total penalty for a late renewal shall not exceed $100.00.
